Teaching Requirements in China
For ESL & Language Centers:
- Native English speaker (UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa)
- Bachelor’s degree (any subject)
- TEFL/TESOL certification (preferred, sometimes optional)
- One year of teaching experience (preferred)
For International Schools:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a subject-specific field (English, Math, Science, etc.)
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- At least two years of teaching experience
